Our first entertainment event this year is an opportunity to enjoy an alfresco lunch on the sumptuous lawns of The Colvile Arms in Lullington on the 5th July with our wives or partners.
Starting at 12.30, Neil the very affable landlord of the pub, will make available exclusively to us his pub and lawn, but we need to finish by 3.00 pm.
The food will be provided by a fish and chip van who are cooking just for us. Fish, chips and peas is what’s on the menu and the cost will be £7.50 per portion, so for two it will the round sum of £15.00. Please bring the right money, in cash, and pay the chip van as you order your food.
If you don’t fancy the food, you are welcome to join us and bring your own picnic.
But if you want fish and chips you MUST let me know no later than Monday 3rd July by emailing me at p.dimeloe@btinternet.com I can then tell them how many portions we require. If you don’t let me know there will not be food available for you.
It should be a very enjoyable day and if the weather is a bit inclement, we can always retire to the marquee or into the pub.
