We have received the sad news that ex-Lichfield 41 club member Bob Jones died on Wednesday in hospital. He was admitted two or three weeks ago with a bowel blockage and whilst there contracted Covid-19.
He was a 41 Club and RT member for many years until 2004. His wife Mary remains a well known and active Tangent member.
Bob & Alan Lunn were close friends and they went on many holidays, both before and after retiring, with their wives Mary and Audrey.
No further information is known at this time. Our thoughts are with Mary at this very sad time.
Such sad news to hear of the passing of Bob Jones and condolences to his family and friends. It is comforting to know that Bob and Alan are reunited.
