Cricket Match – 5th July 6:30pm Whittington Cricket Club

If fish’n’chips was not enough, for the second innings of the day, we are cordially invited to attend, and maybe even participate in, a needle cricket match, the likes of which have not been seen since last week’s Ashes.

In an experiment to see if youth and enthusiasm is a match for old age and treachery, RT250 and Spires 41 come head-to-head at 6:30pm next Wednesday 5th July, at Whittington Cricket Club.

The bar at the clubhouse will be open, so come along for a pint or two, even if you don’t want or are unable to take part. There’s even a BBQ put on for the evening, so if you have room, bring cash for the BBQ (the bar takes card payments).

If you’re not familiar with the anatomy of Whittington, the cricket club is next door to St Giles Hospice. If you don’t know where St Giles is, you’ll find it next to the cricket club.
