Colin John was installed as Chairman at the Annual General Meeting. Vice Chair is Roger Hartley, President Roger Davies.

Ron Smith took over organisation for the 2023 Spring Golf Competition, attended by 11 golfers. The event was held over two days at The Tytherington Club, near Macclesfield.

Friday 14th April 2023 – Messrs John, Hartley (R) and Cole, with their wives, attended the 2023 Ladies Circle Quiz at Darwin Hall. The room was full, a sight to behold, with teams ready for the off at 7:30 pm. The representatives of L41C aptly named “The Young Ones” fought their corner valiantly. A biased opinion on the outcome would say that the questions were aimed for a younger age. Nevertheless, The Young Ones didn’t come last, but finished in the third quartile. A great evening that included a Mexican Street Food vendor who set up outside to provide the sustenance for the evening. A raffle completed the evening and a “Heads & Tails” added to the total raised of around £700 to benefit Acorns Children’s Hospice.
